Community Logo Zulu’s Community strives to provide individuals and organisations with a range of real opportunties to help people in need.

We aim to support organisations who have a reputation and track record of working directly with disadvantaged communities in Australia AND overseas and at GRASS ROOTS level.

We have a special interest in supporting (but not exclusive to):

  • Children overseas - orphans, with health care issues and in need of educational support
  • Women overseas - widowed, with health care issues and in need of life and workskills training
  • Business - mentoring and support with information, advice and skills
  • Refugess overseass displaced by natural disasters
  • Refugees to Australia in need of life and workskills training

Who we’ve been helping

  • Cambodia: supporting orphan children and women and children with HIV/AIDS in Cambodia
  • Australia: Refugee communities in Wagga Wagga NSW
  • Sri Lanka: From January 2005- September 2006 , it was our focus to help Tsunami refugees and orphan children

The organisations and projects we choose to support and promote will:

  • be small organisations run by dedicated and passionate individuals or small unformalised groups - often looking for contributions to goods collections, running public awareness campaigns and fundraising events.
  • be small orgnisations with a proven track record and some successes and established programs or businesses to support.
  • have trade and manufacturing agreements in place with businesses already operating
  • appropriate moral, ethical and social standards - critera to be evaluated by Zulu Communications
  • have REGISTERED CHARITY STATUS in Australia
